The District is assuming that the PlanCon program will help fund the New Middle School Project
According to several State Officials,
the PlanCon program does NOT have any
MONEY to help FUND this project.

As of the school board meeting in December, PlanCon still owes UPSD
and many other school districts for past renovations.
​
If we can't afford an unnecessary new middle school, then we shouldn't build one.

PlanCon: When a school district undertakes a major school construction project and seeks reimbursement from the Commonwealth, a process known as PlanCon is initiated. PlanCon, an acronym for Planning and Construction Workbook, is a set of forms and procedures used to apply for Commonwealth reimbursement.
