We do not need a new middle school
and building one will restrict funding the other needs of our school district.

The reason the district announced they will not raise our taxes above 3% this year is because they
missed the deadline
to apply for an ACT 1 exception.
The problem:
If the district uses 2.48% this year for middle school construction costs (as stated in their documentation), that only leaves 0.52% in the
general operations budget for ALL other expenses.

0.52% is not enough to run general
school district operations!!
For the 2017/2018 budget, the district has already approved offering early retirement incentive to employees
and cutting the Latin program.
This was not expected and is
significantly bad for our students and teachers
