to build a new middle school

The colored markings are added for this detailed breakdown

  • A 2000/1 birth rate is our current 10th grade class which is an uncommonly small class.

  • B 2002-05 is our current 6-8th grade middle school students

  • C 2007/8 birth rate is our current 3rd grade class that is our largest class that we need to accommodate for their time in
    middle school entering in 2019.

  •  The UPSD's Act 34 booklet in the "Need For The Project" section only describes the upward trend to the left of 2008/2009 births.

  • D shows the steady decline after the current 3rd grade class on right for current and future enrollment.

This small student bubble entering middle school

in 2019 does not justify building
a new school at such a high cost.

We Don't Need a New Middle School.

They WANT a New Middle School.
